Nasty little bug identified!

A little over a week ago I posted a few pictures of a flying insect that I could not identify. Well thanks to Daniel at http://whatsthatbug.com/ he identified the flying critter as a Ichneumon, a parasitic wasp.

Sounds pretty nasty but they are actually harmless. My specimen seems to be the Ophion Nigrovarius Provancher. This species is common around light sources on your home.
